the cracked brass bells ring
the choir sings their songs of praise
in the court of the Crimson King
their hands the lowly peasants shall raise

the choir sings their songs of praise
music glistens like the soul of the moon
their hands the lowly peasants shall raise
the Purple Piper plays his tune

music glistens like the soul of the moon
under the mahogany sacred arch
the Purple Piper plays his tune
and the Black Queen chants the funeral march

under the mahogany sacred arch
the cracked brass bells ring
and the Black Queen chants the funeral march
in the court of the Crimson King
