Hello Or Goodbye

I might start staring at the sun
‘Cause I already feel so blind
I don’t know where we are going
You don’t say what’s on your mind.

I sometimes lie awake and wonder
How does it feel to be so missed?
Been so long since I have felt it
You make me feel I don’t exist.

You say you just don’t have the time
You do, but it’s not spent with me
Seems you make it when you want to
I say that, and you disagree.

Why am I the last one on your list?
Is it you’re falling out of love?
If that’s true, then we can make more
That’s all I’ve been thinking of.

I’m feeling like a box high on your shelf
Wrapped in guilt, and covered in dust
Guilt for loving you too much
The way I’m hanging on feels so unjust.

I can’t even remember the last time
That you said you love me first
I’m always the one to say it
Do you mean it when it’s reversed?

And if you really look back through
All the letters, and all we’ve said
And read them, and remember
Am I so confused, that I’m mislead?

Before I scream and lose my mind
I’ve got to get this off my chest
Some days I find a way to hang on
Most nights I’m so damn depressed.

It will have to come right down to this
And if you have to, just take your time
I’m going to say it straight out to you
Do you think you’ll ever want to be mine?

Do you think that you will want my kiss?
Do you think you will need my touch?
Will you think about that look in my eyes?
Will you miss me, but not that much?

Will you forget everything that we had?
Will you keep yourself too busy to try?
Will you ever let yourself believe?
It’s time for one last Hello Or Goodbye.
