MY Tub of Misery
I sit back
In my tub of misery
I ponder about
The complex spirit I have
This moment
The senses that made this
The strength that brought me
This point in time
That I may never extract from
The murkiness of it all
The darkened water
That surrounds me
In my tub of misery
The constant disperse
Of that permanent drip
That never seems to vanish
The smell of deepness
From the essentials of
My spirit; my senses
In my tub of misery
You just know
When you’re drowning
When you can’t see the light
Don’t say it
That you’ve never been there
We all have
My mind goes all day
But once I enter
My tub of misery
Its endless eternity
Like the waterfall of heat
That burns my toes
Even more with every second
But when it turns
And the bumps on my skin
Take me over
I just know I have to extract
From my tub of misery
