Time Did Fly
------------
I’m lying with you,
In the big boys bed.
Waiting for you,
To close your eyes.
Looking over,
How you’ve grown
Makes me realize,
How fast the time did fly.
Wasn’t long I was rocking you,
In your favorite chair.
It’s amazing, can it be?
Has it really been a year?
You’ve grown right before my eyes,
You’ve become a little man.
But I know I’m not ready to let go,
Of your precious little hand.
But soon, far too fast,
You’ll be all but grown.
And I’ll look back on this time,
As the best I’ve ever known.
