Evil Ballerina

Contributed by pixie on Sunday, 6th June 2004 @ 11:59:58 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I dance all day and hunt all night,
Hunt for victims just to hear their plight,
To look at I am a dainty little flower,
Inside my head is a wanting to cause fear and possess power.

I spin around and do a twirl,
I am a truly evil young girl,
My ruby red lips and painted eyes,
My pixie like ears that have heard many cries.

I put on an act and fool everyone I see,
I can make myself into whatever you want me to be,
But my face is the last one you’ll witness,
Curled up and distorted with all my wickedness.

As I tie my ballet shoe ribbon around your neck,
You shake and quiver like a nervous wreck,
You shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover,
If you’d looked deep into my soul you would have discovered.

That I am a vicious and trained murderess,
A sociopath and nothing less,
My conscience is still yet to show it’s face,
I don’t think it will dare step into my dark place.

As your life is drifting away,
I dance for you, as I do by day,
The last thing you’ll see is the Evil Ballerina,
No-one lives to tell the tale of seeing her.

This one captivated me from the first line. Very unique. When you let your mind wonder, you let it creep to places I've never witnessed. Good job!!!

The title itself drew me to read it.
I'm glad I did.....never realised these ballerinas could be so scary, lol
