plastic tears slide
down broken images
i gaze into you
with wonder and hopes
like a little lost bug
you smash me to the ground
reach into me
and take all
your eyes can hold
with no one to love
you were my one exit
my path to the sun
spiked shadows engulf me
i suffer alone
spinning around a
false center of feeling
broken ribs are crushed
and lies are spread
you chose your love
the sun in the shadows
i have nowhere to turn
i trust no one but you
so now i lay here
a burnt mass of black blood
and dread
i lie here and dream
of the sky up above
your sunshine and rays
my lighting and rain
the pain that i feel
the hurt that i know
my freedom has come
i still sit opressed
dragonfly girl,
uncurl your wings.
lie down your poison
and let me roam free.
i wish you no harm
you're all that i live for
you set your silken traps
and i fall to you feet
forever to backslide
never to live.

good poem, very different. I wonder if those who hurt us so much, ever stop for one second to simply think of us or wonder about us.... A++++ |
