my tale of a heartbroke man

Contributed by holderofthestone on Sunday, 6th June 2004 @ 01:20:31 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

alone I sit, pen in hand
to tell a story of a man
who had a love that once was true
but went away, and left him blue
it started when she looked at him
a strange new feeling soon began
at first it was a little crush
but love soon followed in a rush
you should have seen his dismay
when one day she sent love his way
and over time his love did grow
the extent of which she didnt know
the nights they spent bonded as one
walked hand in hand under the sun
she laughed he cried they shared it all
he was there at her beckoning call
but she soon thought time to move on
she packed her stuff and now is gone
and where she went he always wonders
why she left he constantly ponders
he didnt even get goodbye
one last chance to look in her eye
to embrace her and hold her close
to profess his love and to propose
does she know how much he loved her
and of this man does she remember
this should have been a great love story
a never ending show of its glory
but somehow it had gotten lost
when that line had gotten crossed
he stills spends his time alone
and always will till she comes home
the stories told the best I can
the story of a heartbroke man
I cant remember all the facts
I probably told it way to fast
but did you guess it do you know
Im this man of whom I wrote...

I Too Am So Sorry To Hear About Your Pain !!! I Just Wish There Was Something I Could Do To Cheer You Up And Put A Smile Back On Your Face For I Hate To See Or Hear Someone Being Sad All The Time !!!! Cheer Up And Enjoy Life As It Is Now !!! Don't Dwell In The Past But Look At The Future & What It May Hold For You :-)
Love,Hugs & God Bless
