I used to know what it ment to be alone
and to be happy....
but now the idea is jumbled
like a disfigured, ugly dream...
I give out little hints, yeah,
I'm sure you've noticed them...
The voice of an angel doesn't always
save you from hell.
I've learned this the hard way..
So now here I am, coiling into myself..and I wonder..will they ever know?
Maybe when I am finally taken by that which has been haunting my every thought they will see...
so far it seems, too far.
Listen to the music swell, it's like a beating heart..
but really it pushes you along, doesn't it?
Sometimes I think if I scream loud enough everything will have to be peaceful..
but I can't do that..
everything would be ruined if I did..
and the chior sings it's final ballad, telling of a creature with all the smiles of a piece of plastic...
how I adore sitting and whatching them from a far,
in the private box seat of my mind's eye.
If they knew I was there...I wonder
would they stop their singing?
I would hope not, it's turned into solace for me.
Their gental voices rock this pathetic city into a hesitant sleep..I can see it happening..
I stare at their beautiful words like a dove in flight
...so light in the air
and I think

| very emotional.. and remember some of the best poetry ever written didn't rhyme... good writing |
