Before, No matter how hard, I may have tried.
I faced your contempt, you passed me right by.
Later I’ve learned, that you may have lied
My own opinion may not be that wide.
Life, slowly drifting away.
I'll sit in back, thinking all day.
Listen to you, so much to say.
Keep to my self, the rest of the way.
Now, in the end, you come to me.
Trying to help, and show me the way.
Thinking you know, the best to be.
Maybe your best, isn’t for me.
