CHiLDHooD iNNoCeNCe (VoL. 2)

Contributed by strange_lindsey on Saturday, 5th June 2004 @ 04:01:57 PM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

He stumbled and pushed through the oak door
And then came to a screatching hault
His image swaggering in the darkness
The look of a monster glared through his eyes.

She sat quietly staring through the night
Hoping he would just turn and go
With a shiver and a whispered whimper of a coward
She slumped down under the covers some more.

He tip-toed across the wooden floor boards
And slid his body into the bed
Then violently he shook her little body to "conscieousness"
And began his inbred affair.

She knew not to fight it
Or the consequences would be more painful then any of this
So, she closed her blue eyes and silently cried
And waited for the nightmare to end.

When he was done with this "worthless child"
He left her huddled and hiding in dispair
Without even a second thought
He left her there without a care.

She closed her bloodshot and bleeding eyelids
And found herself drifting off to a restless sleep
The embarrassment and humiliation of this night
She vowed would be the only secret she'd always keep...

(To Be Continued)

Wow...
It does get better.... you know what I mean.
Very powerful.
And I thought I was going to have to wait for the next one.
This is very powerful and I'm just hoping you are not the little girl in the story.
