A Surprise Every Day

As I wander in and out of life Roads and Highways
I wonder quietly to myself what others are thinking.
Do they have thoughts similar to mine?
What would they do if they were to encounter the horrors I've seen.
How would they feel
if they had been where I have been ?
I take a closer look at their faces
and different things seem to show.
What most are thinking anyway.
Old wise ones walk with heads held high,
with respect
Young ones are tired and walk with head hung down.
Most ones are too scared to smile ,
and the Odd ones- way to Eager.
Secertly planning to steal my purse-
I suspect .
Thoughts I think as I pass strangers each day .
Can make you laugh or even feel their pain.
Wondering aimlessly wishing
and doubting oneself all the way.
Whatever tommorrow brings ya .
Its a surprise every day.
