broken thread

Contributed by InnerBeautyQueen on Saturday, 5th June 2004 @ 12:50:36 AM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

I’m just staying alive
not trying to coincide
with the one that you hate
please don’t get mad
if you push to hard
the threads come undone

they’re all left that holds
your world to mine
and I’m so tired, arguing
for the forty millionth time
and this strain is hurting my head
I can’t help but call out

and I’m calling to you
because I need you
and it amazes me
how much you chose not to see
when everything’s right here
it’s right in front of you
but please don’t break the strings

they’re all left that holds
your world to mine
and I’m so tired, arguing
for the forty millionth time
and this strain is hurting my head
I can’t help but call out

come back to me now
I promise I can tie the ends
and everything will be fine
just walk home

I’ll send you shoes for your bare feet
you don’t have to walk on broken bottles
and I’ll send to you this piece of string
the missing link for you to tie

they’re all left that holds
your world to mine
and I’m so tired, arguing
for the forty millionth time
and this strain is hurting my head
I can’t help but call out (x2)

... please don't leave me out here...
