As the years go by, we only are braised for what’s to come
We are only wondering what’s next
We wonder about the bad things that happen to us
We wonder why some things just aren’t right
As you go on in life, my dear child
I’ll always be there for you no matter what
My beautiful butterfly…fly….fly away
It’s your time; you time to fly away
For our moments have lasted, they have been wonderful
Our moments have been ones to remember
For our moments are now only memories
But more are to come, this I promise.
I promise you, I will never leave you my dear friend
To a friend who I’ve had the pleasure of knowing
Six years seems short for some, but a life time to you and me
A life time full of memories, a life time of a beautiful friendship
A tear has fallen
It runs down my cheek, and strikes my heart
I’m broken, because you’re leaving
Leaving me behind, to grow with out you
I breathe for you, my dear sweet friend
I must not cry
But I know that this means it’s our goodbye
For what its worth
I never want to say good bye
I wish to say “see you later”.
When is later, my dear friend?
I pray to God, this is not the end
For the times we’ve shared
Have now been spared.
I can’t handle this anymore
Time will fly I am for sure
18 years of a beautiful woman
Someone I look up to and admire
As life carries on, you are the one to make it big
You are the one to get out of here and be someone people admire
For you are the one who is my soul sister
Please don’t give up my dear friend
Please hold on, there is no where you can hide
I know the feeling of being alone inside
Don’t be me, be free like the butterflies we all need to be
Remember that I love you, my dear sweet Mindy
Come back, come back to me
Don’t forget me, or forget who you are
Live for you, and no one else
Tell yourself that there is no where that you can hide
I know that there are roads to take, but you mustn’t hide from them
Don’t be locked out on your own
Please don’t be alone.
To a dear sweet friend of mine
I’ll love you till the day I die
Until that day, I will pray
For the next time we see
See our friendship bloom
Unto a beautiful flower
We will always be the lilies of friendship
