Morning comes to those who wait
But evil lives within those gates
A heavy hand snuffs out the light
While shadowed wraiths await the night
And on the walls defenders stand
Now looking down upon the land
They’re seeing all that moves and glides
When darkness comes they see the lies
They strain to see their enemies
But darkened souls is all they see
They’re standing there a show of force
Awaiting night to run its course
When something stirs within the night
The sound of beasts while taking flight
And crawling hordes approach the gates
All fueled by fire and breathing hate
And standing there within the horde
From hell is spawned this demon lord
It’s violent eyes shine deep and red
Anticipating future dead
And with a howl it all begins
The ranting raving future sins
With tearing claws and grinding teeth
They twist and turn and dive beneath
And bursting up upon the walls
They tear and kick until it falls
Then climbing over shattered stone
They set to steal this kingdom's thrown
But in their way there stands a king
Upon his hand a holy ring
And with him ride the knights of old
A new direction now unfolds
With pounding drums within their chests
The hordes are forced to charge the crest
The beast intends to have the crown
The King intends it hell ward bound
The final clash of claws and steel
The fates are forced to now reveal
The victor takes all in the end
The beast or he who does defend
And with his sword raised to the sky
A fatal blow a shattered lie
The beast is torn from limb to limb
As holy fire burns deep within
And now it comes, the final blow
A curtain calls that’s come to show
That evil climbs up from the pit
But on the thrown will never sit
The King he stands victorious
The demons hordes have all dispersed
A mighty blow he’s struck this day
And saved the souls of Fyndalai
