People tell me not to smoke
they say that I’m so wrong
they tell me smokings suicide
no one seems to understand
the pain I hold inside
I started on a day
that life just proved too hard
I was ready to die I was ready to give up
I was tired and I was sad
my nerves were far too strained
I was leaning off the edge
and now I just can’t stop
maybe one day I will
when my insides chose to heal
but don’t tell me smokings suicide
and don’t tell me that it’s wrong
because it’s far more right
then what could and would have been.

I can certainly understand what you are saying here.... and even tho I wish you didn't pick up this nasty habit... stuff happens...

| i see your point. some people see the short term effects others see the long term. they are looking at the long term and you the short term. life is a death sentence in itself. |
