broken dreams and falling hope

Topic: Lifepoems

broken dreams
and falling hope
go hand-in-hand
with life.

If you could fly away,
far away from here

could you?

If you could leave it all behind,
forget all of the pain

would you?

Broken dreams
and falling hope
go hand-in-hand
with life

close your eyes for just a moment
imagine and believe:
fly away from here
far away from this
fix the breaks
and catch the hope
leave the pain behind.

broken dreams
and falling hope
go hand-in-hand
with life.

reallity now sets in

If you could fly away,
far away from here

could you?

If you could leave it all behind,
forget all of the pain

would you?

even if you had to leave
the few good things in life?
I say it's worth the sacrafice.

too bad it's all a dream

so i'll close my eyes,
and for a moment in time
i can leave this place
fix the breaks
and catch the hope
leave the pain behind

broken dreams
and falling hope
go hand-in-hand
with life.

i'd sleep forever if i could......

I would too.
I agree with you all the way. A beautifully crafted poem with overwhelming emotions. Very nice.
