Time no longer portrays a lonesome duration,
No longer defined by mere seconds in life,
Years depict all that I know, an inspiration,
No longer aging, for time is simply a lie.
Time is the sights shining against the centers of our eyes,
Whether they withhold a saddening picture or an art of beauty,
Time is only a scene, a realistic dream, of all that we can see.
Time is the sounds ringing in the drums of our ears, and all that we sing,
Whether they contain a cacophony of harmonious chords, or an out-of tune song,
Time is inevitably the visions, of everything we hear, played in a major key.
Time is undefined, undiscovered in a dictionary's terms,
And only life can define, and express the truth hidden behind,
For life is truly our meaning, and the meaning of time,
And it seems that this is my life-long lesson learned...

I loved this one!!! Great idea about time...
I love the 1st stanza:
Time no longer portrays a lonesome duration,
No longer defined by mere seconds in life,
Years depict all that I know, an inspiration,
No longer aging, for time is simply a lie.
That kinda says it all right there...
Great write and it is more like lyrics... LOL

This makes more sense to me than anything I have heard in a long time. I think I may try this for the next 6 mos or so. Great write, MLL.
