The sky turned gray
There was a terrible crash
Smoke and fire rolled
from the building above
He looked down
Tears falling like rain
Such unhappiness ,
devastation and pain
He opened his arms
And held out his hands
One by one he pulled them
into the safety of his love
The Lord was with them
When the terror came from above
One by one they were lifted
Into God's open arms
No more sorrow, no more pain
Wrapped in the glow of
God's love
Safe and secure in
Heaven above
