What are these feelings in my heart?
When I thought there was nothing left for me
Light filters through the window above us
Disturbing two white doves cooing
Deserted farmhouse, our haven from the storm
Still shots, freeze frame, caught us
Soaking wet and hungry for each other
Lovers in an instant, recognition of the soul
Long lost in paradigm of life’s rhyme
Given up for dead, mute in the dusk
Until we found one another, tears in my eyes
You keep repeating – if only and what might have been
But that is not for us, only what we steal like crumbs
Accumulating minutes into a lifetime
Creating time and place – black and white movies
You play Jean-Paul Belmondo to my Bridgette Bardo
We find humor in all of this - keep upping the ante
Smart enough not to fall head over heals, yet so intrigued
What are the possibilities?
Dreams slither between us like some hot reptile
Adam and Eve and sins of the flesh
But life knocks its hard head into the dream
Shaking us back to reality and that sense that something is missing
I think it must be you

mm mmm..I found this to be sensuous, sinful and totally fantastic!! I dont think there is anyone who can express themselves quite like you can Gaille. Two lovers who know the score and the rules of the game.
Very VERY well done ;o)

Only you can write words that make my face crumple like I am going to cry. Just overwhelming.
