Gazed at the clock hitting seven;
I looked up the sky to see a rainbow suit,
With fancy designs, dressed by lady sky.
I wanted to speak to her about my heart,
But I didn't even know what my mind desired.
Soon the lady sky turned her back against me;
I could only see the dark black long hair of hers.
As my feeling was drawing down,
A bright star reminded me of the story of hopes
Once fallen upon the Earth because of Him.
Beautiful Savior,
You have made my stubborn mouth become intriguing.
Beautiful Savior,
You have made a stone heart melting in fire.
You have made my words
Speak of endless compassion, to others.
Gazing out at the window by seven o'clock;
I looked up the sky to observe a rainbow suit,
With fancy dreams in my mind, I saw a lady in the sky.
My words rushed to my lips, as I wrote down this song,
But I didn't know how it would end, until my last word spoken.

Now I definately understood this one. Religious, I am not - yet I found your words powerful and evocative, especially these lines;
"A bright star reminded me of the story of hopes
Once fallen upon the Earth because of Him."
A Notable write.
Keep writing. |
