I feel around for something I've lost
Or was it ever there?
It's undeniably present
At the same time disappeared.
How can I miss this
When I don't even know what this is
How can I feel so empty
When I'm bursting inside
It's like laughter and tears
They aren't opposites
They contradict each other
But can still coexist
It's a perfect balance, don't you think?
Well it's not all working out for me
Even if both extremes are pushing me equally
I may be in balance, but I''m still getting crushed.

Been there and its a horrible feeling...balance is not always a good thing unless you can actually deal with it....
