HEAVEN AND NOT REALLY HELL?

Contributed by steeleyes on Thursday, 3rd June 2004 @ 10:19:46 AM in AEST
Topic: political

When your policies stink
You create some link
A link with the good and true
So now Bush the crude
Wants to link to the good
The glories of World War Two

His ugly, sleazy and illegal war
He wants to make all glowy
To turn what is a chaotic mess
Into something nice and showy

His advisors on and on do plead
We associate him with the past and need
A numbskull who can’t be sold
Be made into a hero
Roosevelt or Ike so bold

A neat trick to hoodwink you
Oh once again
Oh yes, just once again
Another little fantasy, a little lie
They fall from him like rain

You see his writers now
Sitting in their office gloom
How to associate this idiot
With REAL heros of the Oval room

In a land of fantasy
Where sleaze and idealism mix
It’s easy to make a sow’s ear
From this verbal lunatic

Once the words are fixed
Coach the idiot ultra-well
To convince the mob
That we are glorious
That this is heaven. Not REALLY hell.

good stuff kiddeh, ive been writing anti-bush stuff since 2001

it wont happen, us overthrowing him, but it must be seen through, so that when america is invaded, and the NeoNazi republicans removed, then we'll have peace

Actually, last I checked (about 2 hours ago), Bush's approval rating has reached an all time low of 41% (yay)! No president in history has ever won an election without at least a 51% approval rating, so if we keep up the hard work Bush will be saying goodbye in November (technically January, but that just sounds so far away).

Here's a fun link for all us anti-Bush folks. It shows 20 flip flops he has made since his last election campaign (so much for accusing Kerry of flip-flopping).

And yet, I still wonder why 4.1 out of 10 Americans like him. Are they all die hard Republicans?

awesome man and once again your words ring true cutting apart the lies the White House tries to sell us. Keep a look out for my newest poem on Bush. It should be on here tomorrow.
