The Colors of Me

Contributed by Colleen on Wednesday, 2nd June 2004 @ 06:21:07 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Red is my anger and fury
Clear is my tears, hiding the bad, making it blury
White is my love, pure and sweet
Yellow is my enthusiasm, someone you'd want to meet

Orange is the fire that I keep locked inside
Blue's like my own wave, always changing its tide
Green's the beauty of the earth I feel everywhere
Purple's seeing the wonders of night with someone who cares

But black is all my colors mixed in one
It can drowned out the rage of the burning sun
Black can be my comforter
It can help me see my life mature

Black is also my remorse
Knowing I'll never be able to change my life's course
Isn't it the color you see when you die
Is it the color of my life, passing me by?

Beautiful, you have real talent. This is another really good write. Very well thought out, I like the flow & the theme is great. Though I do just have to say one thing on your line
"Black is also my remorse, Knowing I'll never be able to change my life's course,
perhaps this is true but its always good to remember
"we can never change our past but we can always make our future"
