How quickly life...

goes by.
It's one short sigh!
Like the blinking of an eye.
As fast as a bee flies.
Like a sudden spring shower.
Reflection of youth; can't quite remember.
Was it last December that I was young?
I didn't take advantage of love's
opportunities.
They were there!
Things that could have made a difference,
at happiness.
Well I guess it was not to be!
It's all beyond me now.
Is hope material or is life a serial episode?
Maybe love will fill my heart at a new level.
Hold steady heart!
A new adventure may come.
Then maybe some appreciation for life.
Who knows how life goes.
Maybe not to the wayside.
The rut of life!

how truthful this is. you think love will come and then it goes away like never even being there in the first place. I have felt this, unfortunately that is some of lifes best games that he wishes to play on us. sad i know. you conveyed these emotions great in this poem, it was really well done. you just have to hang in there because soon enough something will come. (im sure you've heard this many times, as have we all, but maybe it is true, only time will tell.) take care.

I liked the quick pace that you put with the poem. It was jumping off the screen. It suited the topic. Nicely written.
