i tried

Topic: SadPoetry

wise old woman
of younder grave
will you bring back
the one i tried to save.

it's probally hard
i know it will be
to bring someone back
who wasn't ment to be.

i tried my hardest
it just wasn't enough
he shot himself twise
strainght into his heart.

he wasn't as tough
as he led me to believe
cause if he was
he'd still be here with me.

as i quit talking
my sobs finally come
when a tear rolls down her cheek
it was the first time she had cried in a million weeks.

she didn't have to say anything
her answer was plain to see.

i say i'm sorry
then walk away
though i soon realize
it wan't my falt.

This is sad, and well written...I like the realization at the end.
