I'm too perky today.
I have to have to make
the happiness stop.
Take the blade and
slit my throat,
watch the blood
gurgle from my neck as I
gasp for breath.
I annoy myself,
so I'll slit my wrists,
swim in the crimson joy.
Can't stand all the laughter,
so make sure it's quiet when
I shoot the bullet through my head.
Sick of all the socializing,
I'll be alone when I
tie the noose.
No more perkiness!

| The title was the first thing that saddened me..i'm a naturally perky person. but this poem it goes through 4 different scenes of suicide. I know how it feels to hate yourself. and just want to die. to feel no more pain. but it doesn't help. i know that suicide lies!!! i'm here to talk if you want to. |

| lol, this is one of the first times ive heard someone want to end their happiness. people tend to strive for it so much, and its not even something that stays around long. great write. |
