As I tried to climb out of this pit,
that I have always called my home
I fell back into it again,
hit harder than ever before
Not someone who lets it show,
I can only write it down
Too weak to show the world,
what lies behind the smiles
I've fallen once again,
but can I keep myself strong?
Can I keep it moving on,
and pull myself together?
Or will I submit to reality,
and submit to all of it's truths?
Can I fight against whats real,
and shape my own reality?
There's no more maybe thoughts,
what's done is done and done for good
I gotta find the truth that lies in this mistake,
and pull it out and keep it close for next time
Forget it all...let the rain wash it away

It is good to look back and refer to them occasionally as a pointer of what not to replicate, but to hold them close and beat yourself up over and over defeats you before you begin. Let the rains come!
