Suicide

this pain is so much greater than imagined
searing through my head though it started in my wrist
i'm getting really cold then getting really hot
i think there used to be a word for that
maybe i phrase
but i don't remember it now
nor do i care...
i wanted out
but this will be over soon
... i hope...
i'm screaming and crying
and my hands are falling from the grasp they just held...
i hurt so much
i want to hold something
i want something to squeeze just so i know that i'm alive
but i suppose that's not very smart of me
i'm going to die
...i'm going to die...
but this is what i wanted
and this pain is nothing compared to what life is...
...was...
i can't feel it now
but if i can't feel it then why am i still thinking...
why can i still see...
...i think i made a mistake...

i want something to squeeze just so i know that i'm alive- felt like this line spoke to me because sometimes I think of pain that way,as a reminder that im still here.... another great poem, I really like this one! |

I second the previous commentator - this is a most original suicide poem. I hope it helped you out expressing it like this.
Good luck. |
