What If?

Life can be fowl,
Life can be wicked;
Life can be the devil
Just a spitting image.
Life can be like God, all good and kind
Until the devil corrupts its mind.
Life, death, hope, breath,
These are the things we don't no are true
But we try to comprehend, even if we do.
If the devil was like God, where would we be?
Talking about fairies and praying to thee!
And if God was like the devil, where would we be?
Watching videos of bloody Sunday, or re-enacting it all over the world!
The world hangs in a balance between good and bad.
We are not good, we are not bad,
It is just what we do with our time that makes us good or bad.

I definitely have to agree with Jarred about this poem. I really like the poem Harry. It is different and kind of refreshing. Makes you stop and actually consider what is good and what is bad. great write hun! |
