I look in the mirror
never seeing what could be’
trying to forget that you were once there
knowing that I lost everything
and that I will never get it back
I cry and the tears are not for myself
but what could have been
I’ve lost it before and it wasn’t my fault
but know it is and it is the hardest thing to accept
please don’t hate me
I know I will always live with the blame
and the guilt of hurting you
understand why try to
I wish I could explain
what I don’t understand myself
there is always going to be something wrong with me
I am only human
