Rhythm of Love

Topic: LovePoetry

* * *
Even now I remember your
Full moon face, fascinating eyes
Sweet red lips and swolen breasts
Which made me mad, like a bee
I drank honey from your lotus face!
Even now I remember you in love
Your body weak with fatigue
Swarms of curling hair falling
On pale red cheeks trying to hide
Secret of the guilt your soft arms
clung like vines on my neck!
I remember rapture in your eyes
Glittering pupils dancing wildly
In love’s vigil like a wild goose
In our lotus bed of passion your face
Bowed low with shame at dawn!
Even now I remember you
Holding the reins in our wild dance
of love, lustre of moon on your face
Your body trembling with passion
Delicately bent by lush breasts
And heavy round hips dancing,
Mantled in mane of flying hair!
I remember your sweet lovely face
Golden ear rings grazing your cheeks
As you strove to take the man’s role
Beads of sweat strewn thick like pearls
From toil of your rhythmic swinging!
I wondered if you were goddess of love
or a nymph of heaven come to earth
and whether the Creator did create you
only to fascinate me your lover poet?
