Luckiest Man

Contributed by Joker17 on Monday, 31st May 2004 @ 09:22:19 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

If you can find a way in your heart
To really let me come back again
Then read on, and I know you will see
You’ve made me the Luckiest Man.

No one else on earth could want more
Then all I want to make up to you
Everything that I did so wrong
I’ll show you that my love is so true.

It’s took me leaving you to find out
But now I’m doing all that I can
I should have stayed and worked it all out
But I am still the Luckiest Man.

You’re letting me back into your life
I understand why we are taking it slow
This time I know you’ll truly see
I love you so much, I’ll never let go.

You’ve given me your love and much more
I regret the fact, I took it and ran
But you’re the one who’s made me feel
Like I must be the Luckiest Man.

I know you did the best that you could
I was the one, just too blind to see
If only I had opened my eyes
I’d be the man you want me to be.

I’ve changed, and it’s not all in my mind
I’ve looked back to where we began
But you giving me one more chance
Has made me the Luckiest Man.
