The Unknown Hero

Contributed by secretwind on Monday, 31st May 2004 @ 03:17:52 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Last night or the night before
I decided to hurt no more
but I gotta tell the truth
I’m not really sure
if I can really be hardcore.

people come and people go
many do not know
what they are living for,
when the sun is shinning
they feel low
looking for somewhere
to release ill flows...
knockin' on the door
callin' on the phone
leaving messages that say
they know I am home,
so I get up and let 'em in
and once more I absorb
their evil winds.

Last night or the night before
I thought I decided
I couldn't take no more
but I had to open the door
to absorb their pain
that's what I am living for.

It is always better to be a giver than a receiver you have a great heart to give as much as you do if no one else appreciates it I do because it shows in this poem. Thanks

We can run but we can't hide.
Very good write and I agree, u have a big heart full with God never said it would be easy. He said he'd never leave us nor forsake us. Sometimes trouble comes our way to remind us how others live and that we should never take any one or anything for granted. Once we get back up again we come back much stronger.
A great write as there are many out there that jus need to know someone cares.
Keep the faith and keep up the great masterpeices as this one.
luv, huggs,
emy

it is ultimately up to the person to find happiness. .. as friends we are there to pick them up but we can not make the change for them

I liked that it was good. Very deep. Nicely written.
