Until I found you my life was filled with pain and loneliness
My heart wore scars of the past
My soul carried fears for the future
There was a river of tears surrounding a wall that guarded my love
Somehow you managed to break through all of that
You have shown me that love is something worth trying for
You took my hand and told me you would never leave my side
I just wanted to say thank you for helping me find love again
