bleeding beauty

Topic: DarkPoetry

(Morgan don't fall
don't fail me tonight
just let me love you
don't put up a fight)

fall into my arms
like a fairy tale dream
let me protect you
let me make you my queen
just let me love you
and god, please don't scream
or I’ll cut your throat baby
and "love" the wound as it bleeds

(Morgan don't make this
so hard on yourself
just lay still and be quiet
and try to enjoy yourself)

I’ll gently brush that wisp of hair
out of your tear-streaked face
and take all of your sorrows away
put my love in their place
please don't look so frightened baby
while our love is made
try to keep your eyes on me
instead of the hand that holds the blade

(it was like watching my dreams unfold
staring through your window
each and every night
shivering as you undressed
soft skin glowing in the pale moonlight

years spent at your window pane
stealing glimpses
building fantasies
content to watch you from the darkness
until the day you would belong to me)

it's love that makes the world go 'round
but my love just makes your tears come down
if it's love that everyone wishes to find
then why must I make you take mine

don't cry Morgan
your pain will pass
as soon as you
sniff this small rag
this chloroform
will set you free
turn you into
my Sleeping Beauty
you'll never wake
unto this pain
for my knife will
seek out each vein
make love to you
one final time
my Bleeding Beauty
finally mine
