If you are reading what I am trying to say now
Well, my dear friend, for you it is too late
For what you read within these lifeless eyes
Has run its due course, and mingled with fate
I loved you dearly, yet you were very much blind
You couldn’t see the forest for the trees, it seemed
I watched you over the years love everyone but me
Whilst I smiled on the outside, inside my voices screamed
I desired the only thing that my heart couldn’t have
I didn’t tell a soul, for I knew they wouldn’t understand
For you had always belonged to someone else
Forever leaving my emotions within a dire wasteland
My letter of love for you will be written in crimson ink
Penned on weathered skin, leaving no room for error
Signed, sealed and delivered with a swift metallic score
The solemn last words from me that will last forever
Though I die, my love letter remains evermore in your mind

Beautiful, with that tainted morbid side. Excellent. |

Wow written with a cold finality that sent a
shiver down my spine. I don't think it needed
that last line because the line before it just
ends the write perfectly other than that this
poem was sad, dark and just plain
awesome. Amazing my friend.
