The flashing light sits on the shelf,
next to me I see it shine,
it shines brighter then myself.
Isn’t that a lovely story?
Today I was told I didn’t care,
funny because I thought I did,
I guess it doesn’t matter here.
It doesn’t matter anywhere.
This morning I woke up to the birds,
chirping like they always do,
but I can’t make out their words.
Doesn’t that just make you think?
Someday you’ll finally see the place,
that you still have yet to find,
But it will all go to waste.
but I’m sure the sun will shine.
Yes,
I'm sure the sun will shine.

I dont quite know how to say how i feel about this but i'll make a sad attempt: beautifly sad optomism if such a thing exists, i dont know how to describe this poem, because since words are abused I mean that this is beautifly dark in the most pure and untanted sence of the words...it's going to drive me ***** crazy trying to say what i mean so forget it: wonderful. |
