Nothing Remains

Moment after moment dies
Shrill screams peirce the atmosphere
Shrieks that nobody can hear
Break my heart of stone
Beyond fantasy, nothing remains
Even in my dreams I am alone
My past disappears as tears fade into nothingness
Into the pool of blood upon the floor
Within the crimson stream all else fades away
Nothin lies within, save only one mistake
My refuge crumbles atop my broken heart
My soul cannot breathe within the debris
Plastic smiles reveal a long-lost destiny
Frozen, I see my world through glassy eyes
Blinded by this love, there is nothing to see
Nothing, save for your reflection, staring back at me

Such imagery is painted. So much darkness one can not see the light. enought of that. This was pretty good. I like the use of words here. It seems natural and unforsed which is what i love here. Keep it coming and notify me if theres somthing you want me to read. I'll sure read it. this was pretty good. |
