Listen To Y our Child

Contributed by freespirit on Sunday, 30th May 2004 @ 10:36:47 AM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

Listen to you child

Have you ever stopped to listen?
To what your child has to say?
Or are you always just to busy
That’s why they run away
They go in search of friendship
Where some one takes the time
To listen to there inner thoughts
And what is on their minds
What if the path they travel?
Is the path to drugs and death?
Will you then have the time to listen?
When you lay them within the earth to rest
So why not take the time
From your oh so busy day
And sit and listen as to
What your child would like to say
