Revels in Satan's palace

Contributed by CeruleanScreams on Sunday, 30th May 2004 @ 09:48:41 AM in AEST
Topic: Grief

When this world whirls around,
And I am cast into its currents,
I have nothing upon which to cling--
Except for you.
The slashing does nothing for me now,
For I no longer feel the pain,
Drugs are but a brief escape,
For needles only prick my soul, thus are in vain.
But you
With your hard-muscled arms,
Encircling me protectively,
Are like a shield behind which I hide
From this ***** world.
The feel of you against my skin
Is better than the razor.
Your passion elates my wretched self
As no addiction could.
Why then must my only hope depart
And leave me stranded in this life...
My existence means nothing now
You were the light in overwhelming dark.
Should I now join you
In good Satan's palace?
Where we shall revel for eternity,
And lay together once more.
