Her Sweet Voice

Topic: LovePoetry

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Her Sweet Voice
I hear her sweet voice calling
Soft and gentle in my heart
In kindness she reminds me
We’re not really far apart
It’s more than I deserve
More than I could ask
I’m certain she loves me
Tho sometimes it’s a laborious task
Sometimes I long to see her
To just look into those eyes
Find again the wonder
The joy and the surprise
But for now I listen
To words her heart still dares to speak
Someday hoping for more
When trust’s restored and not so weak
And oh how beautiful is her voice
That brings such joy to my spirit
I will ever listen with awe
And pray always I hear it
Russ
