Touched By An Angel

Contributed by pixie on Sunday, 30th May 2004 @ 06:49:48 AM in AEST
Topic: happypoetry

Last night an angel came to me,
Her beauty shone as far as the eye could see,
Around her was a great, white light,
That clung to her winged figure oh so tight.

Her face was like a pale , may rose,
As I breathed and adsorbed her my body just froze,
Her hair was like something out of a fairytale,
She was perfect ,everything drawn to scale.

I felt my fear I’d carried disperse,
Like this amazing creature had lifted my life’s curse,
She placed her hand gently over mine,
And whispered you are strong and everything will be fine.

I asked her how she knew this was so?
She replied I can see your soul and that is how I know,
She went on to say how she had long watched me from above,
That my inner torment was over now I had found true love.

Before she left she kissed me and touched my arm,
Reminding me that Mark would shelter me from harm,
I wanted to tell the world just what had happened this night,
How I had witnessed such a heavenly and angelic sight.
