As the days go by, People get older,
There minds get bolder.
They forget whom their allies stand by,
They forget who was there when they would cry.
As the year goes on,
And the dusk turns to dawn,
And no one knows whom to turn too.
So they stand, so they sit, and wonder who is true.
Time changes, and so do friends.
They laugh, the hate, they change in different blends.
You can watch as everyone’s life changes,
How they move on with rearranges.
And do you ever wonder how one survives?
How they can keep going on with their lives?
They get new friends, they lose old friends,
But they never get rid of the many blends.
This is high school, and this is life,
Before adulthood, and that strife.
Can they manage? Can they survive?
If the only one that was loyal took a dive?
By accident, they are no longer there,
But they want you to go on from there.
Make a new chapter in your book,
And even when life took,
Your friend, you can’t give up on what you have,
What you have and what you don’t have.
