The monster it towered above me, sky high
It's eyes shone through the gloom
I felt so scared, I would surely die
This was total doom
It did not move, but held such power
Beneath it, I stood transfixed
My only thought, was to run for cover
And what it would do next
I moved only an inch and the monster it grinned
Suddenly I was swallowed whole
It forced me along, not knowing what I'd find
I was in darkness, scurrying like a mole
Going upwards, I was in its throat
Until suddenly I was spat out
I was in a passage, I felt so remote
What was round the corner, I had no doubt
I landed in its belly and I could see through
To the outside world and you and you
