My Way Of Life

Contributed by Rylo on Saturday, 29th May 2004 @ 12:00:57 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

So many death threats, and yet none have been met.
So many times I have seen death, stare into my eyes,
And always I am still left here on this earth alive.
So many times over the years, I have thought of suicide,
But I stop and ask myself why, when chances are I won't die.
This can make a man wonder who he really is, and make a man live a life full of if's.
You know when most people look down a barrow of a gun, that's to their head.
One could only wonder, if they're going to end up dead.
Now me on the other hand, I'd rather laugh, for I know the moment will pass.
In a lot of my poems I tell people how I have seen,
The side of light, and the side of darkness, well that's just how my life is.
My life in anothers eyes, is just a big mystery, without the surprise.
I am a person, who can look you right in the eyes, and read your mind.
I can take one by the hand, and show them what it's like to walk in a foreign land.
I am not at all, your typical everyday person who lives day by day.
For I know that I will leave this world in an unusual way.
I just want to say to you all, that no matter what side you live your life in,
Just make it the best that you can, and I just hope that you all can understand.
The darkside of life is full of so many mysteries, not really meant to be seen,
And in the light, not everything is clean.
There is always dark with the light, and in the light there is always dark.
It is just up to you, to make the right spark.

Wonderful Honest Write Ron Hun !!! Loved It !!Even Though I'm Really Bad Sick & All, I Need To See Things As They Are & Accept The Things That Has Happened To Me & Stop Trying To Give Up On Life All The Time !!! Before I Got Saved I Tried Killing Myself Six Maybe More & I Thought To Myself Why Am I Doing This !!! I've Tried Six Times Already & I'm Still Here.. If Ev1 Could See Life As You Have Written Here It Would Make Life A Whole Lot Better !!!

I Need To Remember These Lines Here... I Think Ev1 Should !!!

There is always dark with the light, and in the light there is always dark.
It is just up to you, to make the right spark.
Thank You For This Honest True Write Ron !!!

Life is harsh at times but whatever our happenings it is up to each of us to make the best of what we have. Ron, this poem will hopefully be a wake up call for some. Life is never perfect and usually never easy, but it is better than the alternative.

Hugs,
Rita
