Have you forgiven yourself?
Do you remember when he told you
He loved you and you were the only one,
But that day of marriage had never come.
Do you forgive your self for believe his lies?
Or do still find those tears in your eyes?
Have you forgiven yourself?
For the moment in time,
When you were about to cross deaths line,
When you thought life was no more for you,
And the solution was clear through,
Killing your self was your attempt
But somehow you found that strength.
Do you forgive yourself?
For the baby that should have come,
You find your self imagine whether it was
Your daughter or son.
Time seem to never heal these pain,
It shows up time and time again,
But if you don't forgive you, how can you grow?
Forgive your self and you will know..

The messages and repetition of 'forgive yourself' are incredibly evocative. I especially like the last verse. |
