I remember when I first set eyes on you
Silently wishing that you’d want me too
Praying that maybe there was a chance
I remember when you spoke to me
Silently wishing that we could be
Dancing with the death of romance
So dance with me
For I am your fool
Give me fake happiness
In this shallow pool
While we dance ignorantly with death
Take this wilting rose that I hold onto in fear
For it symbolises our love my dear
Take this knife, pierce it through my soul
Let my cold blood take full control
Seize this moment and feed me with your poisonous kiss
So hold me in your dying grasp
Lie to me the broken promise that our love will last
So let us dance forever doomed in this false bliss
Dance with me deceptively
I’m insecure, don’t let me go
Tell me lies break my heart
Let love the love die so the hate can grow
As I lead you hypnotically into sweet death
Take this wilting rose I hold onto in fear
For this symbolises our love my dear

I guess you are saying fake love is better than no love. although this is a good poem I would not want to be i a relationship like that. |
