feed me with this diet of lies.
i'll feed you with blasphemy.
turn your back in ignorance.
hide within your dreams.
perfection is unreachable.
do you truely know what impossible means?
shelter your eyes from the darkness
but don't break forth into the light.
this underworld holds forgiving peace.
above ground a meaningless plight.
to achieve more than the next.
to ensure a life of mindless control
of all that you can safely reach
but up there you lose your soul.
there's no promise of safety
if you live within dark
but your world is sickening
a disease of the heart.
it lacks the ability
to fathom a change
it consumes all empathy
so leave me here
in my psychotic world of numbing antidotes.

nicely put though. i enjoyed reading it.
