USING YOUR FEAR AGAINST YOU

Bush under fire over terror alert

President Bush has come under fire for his handling of the domestic war on terror after a warning of a possible al-Qaeda attack in the US.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/3752163.stm

O/

A sleazy political trick
From the master of the sick
Generating more fear
Translate to votes right here

Republicans of old
Use this hoary trick
Make Americans scared
It is truly sick

If you make them scared enough
They will vote for the hard
That’s the winning ticket
That's the winning card

Make them sick with fear
Make them anxious too
Make them vote this way
Then they’ll vote for YOU!

Such an old old trick
But this is a desperate time
We can’t win on our record
So its time to use the slime

To paraphrase a saying
All’s fair in love, war and politic
But this latest lie is easily seen
As crass, sleazy and awful sick

Just like they did before
Post 9/11 they used it to the max
Get them so scared
The sheep move in a pack

Now we need a distraction
Away from news so bad
Get the people worried
Then we won’t look so sad

As November gets closer
We will see this more and more
Scare stories to gain your votes
Their morality hits the floor

Now you see this corrupt band
Liars and deceivers all
They can’t win honestly
And make this slimy call

Do you see them now so clear?
Have you got the message yet
Our leaders are all liars
Remove them - or regret

Such a mess they’ve made of this
From the beginning to the end
The world is MUCH more dangerous
And America without a friend

i agree! bush is a liar, coward and a creep! i think what he is doing is trying to put fear into america so that we will vote for him! what a joke! also, i wouldnt be surprised if say ohh around august or september osama bin laden suddenly popped out from the white house with bush prancing around happily saying "i got him, i got him, im the best!" ha. bush what a joke. keep writing more this was amazing!

I'm suprised more people haven't turned this around on Bush and said: Hey....um....why is Al Queda 18,000 strong after fighting them for 3 years? Could it have something to do with the fact that you saved all of the troops for Saddam? The next person who asks if anyone remembers how it felt on 9/11 should be asking that question to Bush.
