You told me once
That I’ve got a nice smile
Did mama never tell you it’s not nice to lie?
Telling that un-truth
That, in spite of myself
Drew the smile from me
The one you said is nice
But not when it’s fake
It’s only nice when it’s genuine
I know you’re lying though
Because all of my smiles are fake
None are honest and true
None are really happy
It’s hard to be happy
When you hurt this bad.

well i dont really know exactly how old you are, but this poem shows that you have true potential. The only thing is, maybe you need to work a little harder on your vocabulary? well just trying to help. |
